Why is my credit card failing?

Payments can fail for several reasons, but most often it’s because the card on file has expired or your bank is blocking the payment. Luckily, these problems are easy to fix.

1. If you’ve gotten a new card recently or you’d like to add a new card for your One Stop payments, go to the My Subscription page (on the Account tab) and update that information.

2. If your card information is correct, call your bank. They'll be able to see why the charge isn’t going through, and most of the time, they just need you to verify it’s a legitimate charge.

Our system will attempt collection 8 times over the course of two weeks. If we're unable to collect on the invoice and your plan does cancel, don’t worry; you can resubscribe with the same email address and get back into your writing groove.

We also have Google and Apple Pay options if you've added a credit card to your Google or Apple Pay account. Please reach out if you'd like to try that payment method instead.
