HELPFUL TIP:

When planning a cast member's talents and skills, think about how genetics, personality traits (both positive attributes and flaws), past experiences, environment, and the character's roles (within a family, a community, and society) all factor into what strengths may form. These special qualities should tie into the story, not only to make the character interesting but also to help him achieve his goal.
DEFINITION:
Connecting with like-minded people to build relationships and leverage that relationship in ways that further both the character’s goals and the goals of the other person

DESCRIPTION:
Certain events are put on to draw like-minded people (those within a specific industry, who have a specific interest or common occupation, or who are there to learn from and connect with one another). These events bring people together to discuss issues that impact them as a group and to allow them the opportunity to mingle –network—so they can discover common goals and needs among them, and share solutions and ideas so everyone walks away with more knowledge and resources than they arrived with. Networking is mainly associated with business but is a valuable opportunity to find and connect with others who share common ground romantically or socially, too.
