Can I copy some of the content at the One Stop site?
This is a frequent request, because of course it would be easier to save any helpful information to your own system to use at your leisure. However, it's important to remember that all the content you see at One Stop is copyrighted. Just as each author puts their all into their work, we've poured ourselves into the content at the site. This is why you retain the content to the work you create here, and we retain the copyright to the tutorials, thesaurus entries, tip sheets, Storyteller's Roadmap, and any other material we've created at the site. So we ask that you not copy that content.
This is indicated in section 9 (Intellectual Property and Access Rights) of CAY's Terms of Use: CAY’s content and the software, code, proprietary methods, and systems used to provide the Site (the “System”) are proprietary and protected by applicable law. You agree not to copy CAY’s content or attempt to access, copy, modify, or reverse engineer the System, or to help any other person do these things.
This applies to any of the content we've created on our end, but of course you own the copyright to anything you've created, and you can copy any of that for your purposes.
