Hooking another on a solution to their problem by being verbally persuasive

Some people have the gift of gab, and they use it to build rapport and trust with the intent of selling something of value. Someone with this talent might sell something simple and inexpensive such as a dress tie at a men's clothing shop or something of high value, like a vacation property. Natural salespeople may also use their skills to secure funding, say to convince someone to invest a large sum of money into an idea or partnership, or they may work to sell themselves to gain entry to someone's inner circle.

As a trusted confidant, they are in a position to make suggestions that can further their own goals (and the goals of people they care about and work for), gain financial rewards, and become influential by always providing what is needed: advice, answers, information, council, services, etc.
