HELPFUL TIP:

Amplifiers are conditions that enhance emotions, causing characters to become more volatile. This often leads to impaired decision-making, hasty actions and, best of all, mistakes. When utilizing an amplifier to generate conflict, think carefully about setting choices and which environments will naturally escalate emotion. An amplifier can also be perfect for triggering your character’s negative traits; the resulting fallout will draw attention to how his flaws trip him up and hold him back.
DESCRIPTION:
In this state, a character experiences unpleasant and lingering effects from overdrinking. How much consumption is required to produce these effects will depend on your character's genetics, constitution, and possibly a sensitivity to certain ingredients.

PHYSICAL SIGNALS AND BEHAVIORS:
Squinting, the eyes reduced to slits
A pained or pinched expression (wincing, a furrowed brow, grimacing, etc.)
Slow, clunky movements
The character rubbing at their forehead or pressing fingertips to temples
Audible tongue clicking as they work up moisture to combat dry mouth
Visible shakiness and fumbling
Holding up a hand or arm to block a source of light
Mumbling and groaning
Poor balance (bumbling into walls or furniture, tripping, etc.)
A slack expression
A bent neck
The character's hair hanging in their face
Poor hand-eye coordination (knocking things over, fumbling, etc.)
Difficulty with fine motor skills
Curling up on a couch or floor
Wrapping arms around the body or head
The character grabbing at their head as if it can stop the room from spinning
Crawling (because standing and walking require too much balance)
Listless responses: grunts, a hand flap, shrugging, or a head shake
